Providing personalized care woven from experience and research to specifically meet each client’s needs, Tapestry Holistic Health LLC aims to blend the frontier of clinical/medical massage with ancient time-tested techniques for integrated health of body, mind and spirit.
As a former dancer, as well as being the eldest of four, Beth has committed her life’s work to the layered well-being of physical, mental and spiritual health.
She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, with emphasis in Kinesiology, from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002. Then, while nursing dance injuries and taking a detour as a piano teacher, she found a natural knack for the empathic healing of yoga and massage.
She has devoted her focus and studies to massage and yoga for the past 15 years. At Heartwood Institute in California, she completed 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification in 2004.
In 2006, moved to Heartwood full-time to delve into the immersive Holistic Health Practitioner 1100-hour program which involved traditional massage (Swedish, Deep Tissue), Chinese Medicine (Zen Shiatsu), Nutrition (Healing with Whole Foods), Lymphatic Drainage, and Energy Healing (Polarity and Craniosacral) and more.
Having earned her Holistic Health Practitioner Certification in 2007, she is graciously indebted to the thousands of clients entrusting her listening hands over the past 10 years who have shaped and informed her capacity for perspective and deep caring.
In June of 2017 she completed the 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Certification at Samadhi Yoga in Denver, with emphasis in Yoga As Medicine, Adaptive Yoga for physical and mental disabilities, and the deeply healing practice of Yoga Nidra.
In 2016 she began studying Spinal Reflex Therapy, a scientifically and clinically researched manual therapy developed by Dr. Frank Jarrell, D.C., to address and resolve neurological connection to pain and patterns.
Integrating these modalities is no small thing, and Beth takes pride in doing so in a way that meets each individual client’s needs in the present moment.
